Nakuchiatal is situated nearly 225 Kms from Delhi. It is well connected from Train. You can get train from Old Delhi Railway Station idle one is Ranikhet Express starting around 10.45 PM and reaches around 5.00AM. You may get taxi at Station which will charge around Rs.600/-. You may also get taxi on sharing basis. Avoid rainy season (Landslides), though its most beautiful during that time.
You may also use public transport such as Volvo bus service from Anand Vihar (Delhi) to Haldwani. From Haldwani Bus Stand - Volvo bus service is available on hourly basis.

There is another Taal (Lake) and the famous one too i.e. Bhimtaal which is also beautiful and cheap but little crowdy.
For peace loving people Nakuchiatal is idealy suited.
